Die Internationale Gesellschaft für Musikwissenschaft (IMS/IGMw) ist die älteste internationale Vereinigung von Musikwissenschaftlern, die seit ihrer Gründung in Basel im Jahre 1927 ohne Unterbrechung tätig ist.
