The Shiniest Star is the original version of the nativity story by Sara Ridgley and Gavin Mole. After Gabriel’s announcement to Mary, we meet Caesar and his centurions, busy innkeepers, startled shepherds, a chatty ox, ass and donkey, three kings, a heavenly host of angels – and the wickedest Herod ever!
